Wright Township was awarded a $25,000 grant for municipal park development through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation and Partnerships Program, which provides financial and technical assistance to local governments, river and trail organizations, and trusts, and other nonprofits for planning, acquisition and development of park, recreation, conservation and greenway projects.
