Wright Township, Luzerne County 2026 Re-Organization and Public Meeting Schedule is as follows:
January 5, Monday at 6pm Reorganization meeting
January 6, Tuesday at 5:30pm Auditor meeting
The Board of Supervisors will hold work sessions at 6pm, the second Monday of the month except for holidays and public meetings immediately thereafter. 2026 Meeting dates are January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 13 (Tues), November 9, December 14. Additional scheduled meetings include the budget meeting on Nov.30 and year end meeting on Dec.28.
The Planning Commission will hold work sessions at 7pm, the first Tuesday of the month and public meetings at 7pm on the third Tuesday of the month except for holidays. 2026 work session dates are Jan. 6 (reorg® meeting), Feb. 3, Mar. 3, Apr. 7, May 5, Jun. 2, Jul. 7, Aug. 5 (Wed.), Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov.4 (Wed.), Dec.2. Regular meetings are Jan. 20, Feb.17, Mar.17, Apr. 21, May 20 (Wed.), Jun. 16, Jul. 21, Aug.18, Sept. 15, Oct. 20, Nov.17, Dec. 15.
The Recreation Committee will hold a public meeting March 9th after the Board of Supervisors meeting.
The Environmental Advisory Board will hold public meetings at 7pm, the first Monday of the month except for holidays. 2026 Meeting dates are Jan. 5, Feb. 2, March 2, April 7 (Tues.), May 4, June 1, July 6, Aug. 3, Sept. 8 (Tues.), Oct. 5, Nov.2, and Dec.7.

The Mountain Top Area COG meetings will be the third Monday at 6pm on Mar. 16, Apr. 13, May 18, Jun. 15, July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 14, Oct. 19, and Nov. 16.
All meetings will be held at the Wright Township municipal building located at 321 South Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, PA. Any additional special meetings or hearings will be separately advertised as required by law. Any cancellations will be posted at the municipal building.
