2024 Public Meetings

Public meetings for 2024 will be held at the Wright Township Municipal Building, 321 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, PA unless otherwise noted. Persons needing disability accommodations are asked to contact the Township at 570-474-9067 during regular business hours in advance of meetings.

2025 Public Meeting Schedule

Wright Township, Luzerne County 2025 Re-Organization and Public Meeting Schedule is as follows:

January 6, Monday at 6pm Reorganization meeting

January 7, Tuesday at 5:30pm Auditor meeting

The Board of Supervisors will hold work sessions at 6pm, the second Monday of the month except for holidays and public meetings immediately thereafter. 2025 Meeting dates are January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10 , December 8.

The Planning Commission will hold work sessions at 7pm, the first Tuesday of the month and public meetings at 7pm on the third Tuesday of the month except for holidays. 2025 work session dates are Jan. 7 (reorg), Feb. 4, Mar. 4, Apr. 1, May 6, Jun. 3, Jul. 1, Aug. 6 (Wed.), Sept. 2, Oct. 7, Nov.5 (Wed.), Dec.2. Regular meetings are Jan. 21, Feb.18, Mar.18, Apr. 15, May 21 (Wed.), Jun. 17, Jul. 15, Aug. 19, Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Nov.18, Dec. 16.

The Recreation Committee will hold a public meeting Feb. 10^th at 7pm.

The Environmental Advisory Board will hold public meetings at 7pm, the first Monday of the month except for holidays. 2025 Meeting dates are Jan. 6, Feb. 3, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 2(Tuesday), Oct. 6, Nov.3, and Dec.1.

The Zoning Hearing Board will have their annual reorganization meeting at 6pm on Monday Jan. 16^th.

The Mountain Top Area COG meetings will be the third Monday at 6pm on Mar. 17, Apr. 14, May 19, Jun. 16, July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, Oct. 20, and Nov. 17.

All meetings will be held at the Wright Township municipal building located at 321 South Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, PA. Any additional special meetings or hearings will be separately advertised as required by law. Any cancellations will be posted at the municipal building.
