Township officials organized a recent meeting to establish collaborative relationships with local industrial park businesses and other partners such as Sen. Gordner, Sen. Baker, Crestwood School District, the Wilkes-Barre Chamber, Penn’s Northeast, MAJSA, and Luzerne County.

Cardinal, Cornell, Gatorade, I2M, and Zodiak Printing were in attendance. Luzerne County Acting Manager Romilda Croacamo spoke about County efforts to secure a $950k grant to pave Oak Hill Road. Crestwood School District shared information about their Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program which is available to eligible businesses that contribute to scholarship organizations and educational improvement organizations, in order to promote expanded educational opportunities for students in Pennsylvania. I2M shared their initiative for an employee daycare for their workforce.
