Spring Clean Up 2025

The township’s annual spring cleanup will be held the week of May 5-10.

This event is for residents’ personal items and not for contractors or business items. No construction materials, paint cans, automotive parts, propane tanks or hazardous materials will be accepted.  No electronic items will be accepted. A separate collection will be held Sept. 6, 2025 for electronics and on May 17th for Tires.

Example of ALLOWABLE ITEMS: microwave, vacuum, sofa, chair, grill (no propane tanks), lawn mower, treadmill, mattress, appliances, patio door, and any large item you would put out for regular trash.  No hazardous materials.

DROP OFF

Dumpsters will be available behind the municipal building to deposit items on Wednesday May 7th from 7am to 4pm Thursday and Friday May 8th and 9th from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday May 10th from 7:00am to 4:00pm. (Closed for lunch 12-12:30pm) Residents can bring items to the dumpsters at the rear of the municipal building May 7-10th.  No items will be accepted without permits.  Permits can be purchased from the Supervisor’s office during business hours or on site after hours starting April 21. Cash or checks only.  Exact change required.

PICK UP

Township employees will pick up large items at residences for a fee on May 6 Tuesday. All items to be picked up must be paid for in advance.  Pick up fee is $10.  There are fees in addition to the pick-up fee per item based on the size or type of the item. Please stop by or call the Supervisors office Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:00 PM during the month of April to arrange for pickup. Deadline to arrange for pick up is Friday, May 2, 2025 at noon.  All items must be placed at roadside by 8:00 AM on Monday, May 5th.  Only items on the list that have been prepaid will be picked up.  No items will be picked up curbside after May 7th, 2025.  Any items after that date will be required to be brought to the municipal drop-off site at the township building.

  • $5.00 FOR CARS – each visit
  • $10.00 FOR PICKUPS AND/OR TRAILERS – each visit

ADDITIONAL DROP OFF FEES

  • $30.00 FOR EACH REFRIGERATOR, FREEZER, DEHUMIDIFIER, OR AIR CONDITIONER

CURBSIDE PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE:

  • $10 CURBSIDE PICK UP FEE

  • $5 CURBSIDE PICK UP FEE SMALL ITEM
  • $10 CURBSIDE PICK UP FEE FOR LARGE ITEMS
  • $10 CURBSIDE YARD WASTE PICKUP
  • $30.00 FOR EACH REFRIGERATOR, FREEZER, DEHUMIDIFIER, OR AIR CONDITIONER
  • $15.00 FOR EACH WASHER, DRYER, DISHWASHER, STOVE OR WATER HEATER

NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO DEPOSIT ITEMS UNLESS THEY HAVE A PERMIT. 

This annual clean-up is for Wright Township residents only.  Proof of residency required.
