| Wright Township Annual Spring Cleanup 2026 |
| The township’s annual spring cleanup will be held the week of May 4–9, 2026. This event is for residents’ personal items and not for contractors or business items. Prohibited Items: No construction materials, paint cans, automotive parts, propane tanks, or hazardous materials. No electronic items will be accepted during this event. Example of Allowable Items: Microwave, vacuum, sofa, chair, grill (no propane tanks), lawn mower, treadmill, mattress, appliances, patio door, and any large item typically put out for regular trash. Drop-Off Information Residents can bring items to the dumpsters at the rear of the municipal building on May 6, 8 or 9. There is no drop off on Thursday May 7th. No items will be accepted without permits. Permits can be purchased from the Supervisor’s office during business hours or on-site after hours starting April 22. Cash or checks only; exact change required. Hours of Clean Up: Wednesday, May 6: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday, May 8: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday, May 9: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Note: Closed for lunch daily from 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM) Curbside Pick-Up Township employees will pick up large items at residences for a fee on Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5. All items must be paid for in advance. Please call or visit the Supervisors office (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) during April to arrange for pickup. Deadline to arrange pickup: Friday, May 1, 2026, at noon. Placement: All items must be at the roadside by 8:00 AM on Sunday, May 3. Policy: Only prepaid items on the approved list will be collected. No items will be picked up curbside after May 5. Fee Schedule Drop-Off Permits (Per Visit): Cars: $10.00 Pickups and/or Trailers: $15.00 Curbside Pick-Up fees: Base Pick-Up Fee: $15.00 Small Item: $5.00 additional Large Item: $10.00 additional Yard Waste: $10.00 additional Appliance Fees (Drop-Off or Pick-Up): $30.00 Each: Refrigerator, Freezer, Dehumidifier, or Air Conditioner $15.00 Each: Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Stove, or Water Heater This cleanup is for Wright Township residents only. Proof of residency and a valid permit are required to participate. Wright Township reserves the right to limit the amount of tickets sold per household. |
