Reflecting on September 11th
On September 11, 2001, our world faced an unprecedented day of tragedy. Today, we remember the events that unfolded and the extraordinary courage shown by so many.
At the World Trade Center in New York, the collapse of the Twin Towers changed the skyline and left a lasting impact on the city and the nation. In Arlington, Virginia, the attack on the Pentagon was a direct strike at the heart of our military. And in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, Flight 93 was brought down by the bravery of its passengers, who prevented further destruction.
Each site tells a story of loss and heroism. The first responders and ordinary citizens who rushed to the scenes demonstrated incredible resilience and dedication.
As we reflect on this day, let’s honor their memory by committing acts of kindness and service. Our appreciation for their bravery endures through the smallest gestures.
We will always remember.
