Annual curbside leaf pickup for Wright Township residents began last week. The pickup route will proceed from north to south and will be completed twice, weather permitting.

Residents may rake leaves along the edge of the street. Leaves must be placed within three feet of the roadway. Please do not mix branches, tree limbs, or rocks with the leaves.

There is no need to call the Municipal Building to request pickup. The Department of Public Works will continue through the established route.

The COG leaf drop-off site will remain open through November 28. Leaves may be dropped off on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Another leaf pickup is planned for early spring.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
