Annual Spring Clean Up

The township’s annual spring cleanup will be held the week of May 1-6.

Township employees will pick up large items at residences for a fee on May 1 and 2nd.

Dumpsters will be available behind the municipal building to deposit items on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday May 3rd through 5th from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday May 6th from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (Closed for lunch 12-12:30pm)

Arrangements must be made for pick up items.  All items to be picked up must be paid for in advance.  Pick up fee is $10.  There are fees in addition to the pick-up fee per item based on the size or type of the item.

There is a fee of TEN Dollars ($10.00) for each large items such as couches, mattresses, grills, lawn tractors, etc.  Appliances and smaller items will be picked up also (see fee schedule attached) but not electronics.  Please stop by or call the Supervisors office Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:00 PM during the month of April to arrange for pickup or drop of.  Deadline for doing so is Thursday, April 27, 2023.  Pick ups will be completed Monday and Tuesday.  All items must be placed at roadside by 8:00 AM on Monday, May 1st.  Only items on the list that have been prepaid will be picked up.  No items will be picked up curbside after May 2nd, 2023.  Any items after that date will be required to be brought to the municipal drop off site at the township building. 

This event is for resident’s personal items and not for contractors or business items. No construction materials, paint cans, automotive parts, propane tanks or hazardous materials will be accepted.  No electronic items will be accepted. A separate collection will be held Aug. 12, 2023 for electronics.

Residents can bring items to the dumpsters at the rear of the municipal building May 3-6th.  No items will be accepted without permits.  Permits can be purchased from the Supervisor’s office during business hours or on site after hours. Cash or checks only.  Exact change required.

  • $5.00 FOR CARS – each visit
  • $15.00 FOR PICKUPS AND/OR TRAILERS – each visit

  • $30.00 FOR EACH REFRIGERATOR, FREEZER, DEHUMIDIFIER, OR AIR CONDITIONER
  • $3.00 FOR EACH CAR TIRE – all tires must be off rims
  • $4.00 FOR EACH 16” TIRE – all tires must be off rims
  • $12.00 FOR EACH 16.5” TIRE – all tires must be off rims
  • $2.00 FOR MOTORCYCLE TIRES

NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO DEPOSIT ITEMS UNLESS THEY HAVE A PERMIT. 

This annual clean up is for Wright Township residents only.  Proof of residency required.

ALLOWABLE ITEMS: microwave, vacuum, sofa, chair, grill (no propane tanks), lawn mower, treadmill, drywall, patio door, fiberglass.
